{Shantay's Bridals}
I am so excited for this beautiful young woman's wedding day. We had so much fun out on several locations. Even though in the end I was bruised and bleeding, it was SO worth it!

{In the Know ~ June 2009}
Ahh, summertime!
I hope you’re enjoying the season and are having fun making wonderful family memories. I'm busy creating beautiful portraits for my clients. Some of the special themes I'm concentrating on are...
Limited Edition "A Day At The Beach" Mini Sessions: These location sessions capture beautiful images of your children dressed in their own swim attire (whether it be old-time bathing suits, enchanting mermaid costumes, or tutu's & rain boots), taken at a beautiful beach full of sand, shells, and drift wood. July dates open now. Sessions will be $50 and packages starting at $35.
Early Bird Christmas Card Portrait Mini Sessions: These location sessions will be set up to take place during August & not only will put you ahead of the Christmas card game & relieve you of the stress that comes during that time of year, but will also save you cash by doing it as a mini session. Sessions will be $50 & Christmas card packages start at $25. Believe me, you will not want to miss out on this. Christmas card prices will only be this low during this short time.
Fall Family Portraits: Imagine the beautiful colors of autumn as a backdrop to your next family portrait. Right now is the time to be thinking about this. Don’t wait to schedule your appointment. If you miss out, it will be another year until the gorgeous autumn colors are blazing again.
Outdoor Portraits: Take advantage of the scenic area we live in, and create a family portrait in one of our beautiful, local parks this summer.
Save the date. My 1st Annual Halloween Charity Bash is going to be a blast! Dates & times TBA soon. My 1st Halloween Charity Bash benefits a local children's hospital and the Utah Food Bank. Canned goods (or a $5 donation) are collected in exchange for a 4x5 portrait of your little “trick or treater” in the pumpkin patch.
**If you would like specifics e-mailed to you as soon as they are available, please e-mail me at CAPTUREDBYL {AT} GMAIL {DOT} COM. Also, I'm getting ready to launch a baby program & children's program that will offer many benefits including something extra special for birthdays. If you are interested please e-mail me as well with your children's names and birth dates. Also let me know you are a fan, by clicking the follow button in the right hand column and also on facebook.**

{Swede ~ Senior 2009}
We had so much fun on this session. What a handsome & funny guy. It was really nice to finally get to take pictures of a guy who actually likes to smile. Of course I made sure we got some serious ones as well. Thanks Swede for letting me be your senior photographer!

{Shereesa ~ Senior 2009}
Well here she is... you may remember this drop dead gorgeous gal from last fall. These are the announcement cards I just made for her. You may even notice a similarity between her and just below, Garrett (Eagle Scout). That's cause they are sibs. Such a wonderful family, I really have enjoyed being able to take part in these milestones in their lives.

{Garrett}
This handsome young man has earned his Eagle Scout. I am so proud of him and I truly look up to those who work so hard to achieve this. Way to go Garrett!! Garrett is also a Lacrosse player at his HS, so we got a shot of him in front of the net. :)

{Jake & Shantay}
I truly LOVE this couple!! For one, Jake is my lil' brother and he has been with Shantay for over 4 years & I love her like she is my own sister. I'm so excited that they are getting married this summer and that I get to take all their engagement, bridal and wedding pictures. They are such a cute couple. The story behind this shoot... Well, we were driving out to Willard Bay to get some nice shots on one of the docks & Shantay jokingly (at least I think it was jokingly) suggested as we drove by Smith & Edwards that we take some pictures in their junk yard, & well... we did. I think they turned out fantastic and I love the ornery faces. Very cat walk, grunge, trash model. Such a fun couple, I really enjoyed capturing some of their real personalities in some of these images... what goofballs! Thanks so much you two! I custom make announcements also, so the first 2 images I have on here are just a sample I made for them, they are not their real announcements.

Jake is doing the "Captain Morgan" pose...LOL!

This is my ultimate favorite one of them... I LOVE IT! I want them to put it on a 20X30 canvas. It's beautiful!
